J.G. Rock Manages Extensive Renovations to Knox Presbyterian Church

J. G. Rock of Naperville was recently chosen as the Construction Manager of the Wheatland Township Road District Maintenance Building and Office being built at 4232 Tower Court in Naperville. The Groundbreaking Celebration was held on July 29, 2008 with Wheatland Township Highway Commissioner Dayton Jarnigan commissioning the project.

The project includes site improvements and construction of the facility, which features three full truck bays, two offices, and a meeting room, as well as clerical and reception space. J. G. Rock will manage budget and timelines for the project, according to Project Manager Brian Fry. All trade contracts were awarded in early August. Site work including water and sewer are underway at this time.

The facility also includes a highly efficient HVAC system, with a hot water radiant heating system embedded in the concrete floor that will thaw and allow maintenance of snow and ice-covered vehicles during the winter months. Construction is expected to be complete in late Spring 2009.

J. G. Rock provides building services for all Commercial Construction Management Projects. Services include planning, programming, site development, construction and construction management.

As a member of the Fry Group of Companies, J. G. Rock is part of an organization that has been actively involved in land development in the Naperville/Plainfield area for over 40 years and has expanded to include the Construction Management of Commercial, Religious, Educational and Civic Projects.
